We built the villa the way we would want to be hosted. Warm beige walls, olive and terracotta accents, natural wood, cane and a lot of greenery — a Bohemian, Bali-inspired calm that sits surprisingly well beside Jodhpur's own palette of sandstone and indigo. It is deliberately small. There is no lobby queue, no call centre, and nobody reads you a script at check-in.
